Penicillide and dehydroisopenicillide from Talaromyces derxii

Penicillide and dehydroisopenicillide were isolated from Talaromyces derxii cultivated on rice. The structure of dehydroisopenicillide was determined by spectroscopic methods, and the absolute configuration of penicillide was confirmed by the ‘partial resolution’ method of Horeau.
