Analysis of Difficulty in Trepanning of Boiler Wall with Wall Type Reheaters of 600 MW Units

The serious slagging of the Shenhua coal fired in 600 MW boilers of Guangdong Guohua Yudean Taishan Power Generation Co.,Ltd.resulted in severe slagging and ash deposition in the reheater region.To solve the problem,it was presented that a long-rod steam soot blower be added respectively on two walls of the boiler.Upon analysis of the difficulty in adding the soot blowers,some improving suggestions were put forward and the units modified successfully,which is of referential value to the operation of large boilers fuelled by Shenhua coal.
