Synthesis and Properties of Epoxy/montmorillonite Nanocomposite

How to preparate the montmorillonite, organoclay and how to preparate modified epoxy resin matrix were introduced in this paper. Microstructure and dynamic mechanical behavior of the composite were tested. The results showed that epoxy montmorillonite nanocomposite impact strength was connected with intercalated agent chain,organoclay content and curative agent content. It also showed that impact strength of the composite was improved a lot.
