A Novel Multi-output Forward-flyback Converter with Secondary Side Post Regulation

A novel multi-output forward-flyback converter with secondary side post regulation is proposed. This converter can output the high power in forward converter, and low power in flyback converter. So it combines the advantages of high efficiency of forward and the low cost of flyback and also has tightly regulated outputs. The operation principle of the converter is discussed, and verified on an experimental prototype on 250W.
