摘要
Here we provide the underlying datasets for assessing forest stability and biodiversity across temperate forests in Northeast China. Forest temporal stability was derived from the open-access MOD13Q1 EVI product (16-day, 250 m) for 2000-2022; each pixel’s stability metric (μ/σ of annual mean EVI) was calculated after cloud-/snow-masked values were removed with the MODIS quality-assurance flags. Biodiversity data come from 253 permanently monitored forest plots (30 m × 30 m) established between 2008 and 2012; within each plot all woody individuals ≥ 1 cm DBH were identified to species, counted and georeferenced, allowing computation of diversity by hill index.
