Summary statement In this presentation, we will unveil the first chromosome‐level genome of the mangrove‐dwelling, solar‐powered sea slug, Elysia leucolegnote . We will provide a brief overview of the species' distribution, behaviour, and the structure of its chloroplasts. Additionally, population genetic analysis and genome resequencing data indicate that genetic differentiation in this species is driven by geographical isolation.
