Olefinsulfonates in cleaners and detergents

This paper deals with the advantages of formulations based on olefinsulfonates. Olefinsulfonates are seen as the ideal basis for the formulation of all kinds of detergents and cleaners because they combine the advantages of the two leading types of surfactant used in the world today ethersulfates and alkyl benzene sulfonates - in one molecule. Typical outline formulations are presented and discussed.
