Analysis of Mortality and Years of Life Lost of Cardio-cerebrovascular Disease among Residents In Nanhu District of Jiaxing City from 2008 to 2013

Objective To explore the status of mortality of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases in Nanhu District of Jiaxing City from 2008 to 2013. Methods According to the date from death-surveillance system in Nanhu District of Jiaxing City from 2008 to 2013,mortality rate,standard mortality rate,potential years of life lost( PYLL),average years of life lost( AYLL),annual percent change( APC) were calculated to analyze the status and trends of mortality of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases. Results The crude death rates of cerebrovascular diseases were 110. 94 /100 000( standarded 70. 66 /100 000),accounted for 18. 02%of total death. Cardiovascular diseases were 61. 08 /100 000( standarded 39. 46 /100 000),accounted for 9. 92% of total death. The mortality of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases showed a sharp rise among the people over the age of 65. AYLL of cerebrovascular disease was 2. 69 years,and the YPLL rate was 2. 99‰. AYLL of heart disease was 3. 79 years,and the YPLL rate was 2. 32‰. The mortality of cerebrovascular disease and cardiovascular diseases were on the rise,while the standardized mortality showed a declining trend. The standard mortality rate of cerebrovascular diseases showed a significant decline. Mortality rate and APC of cerebrovascular diseases were 1. 17% and-3. 15%,while heart disease were 3. 26% and-1. 12%.Conclusions Through advocating healthy lifestyle and regular physical examination may reduce the occurrence and mortality,improve the health life of the residents.
