Gelatin scaffold and PLGA scaffold were fabricated via solid liquid phase separation technique and freeze drying method. These scaffolds displayed interconnected porous microstructures and the porosities were nearly the same. The compressive modulus of PLGA scaffold was 3. 22MPa which was about 500 times more than that of gelatin scaffold. In vitro degradation test demonstrated that gelatin scaffold degraded completely while PLGA scaffold only lost less than 5% of its original mass during 8 weeks.
