Research on active-passive thermal management system of LiFePO_4 battery pack

In order to control the temperature of the Li Fe PO4 battery, phase change materials and liquid cooling were applied to the thermal management system of the battery pack. Before the phase change materials were totally melt,different opening time of the liquid cooling are simulated. Besides, models were built to analysis the relationship between the liquid velocity and the temperature of the battery. The results show that the temperature is lower when the liquid loop opens earlier. And the temperature difference would be smaller when the liquid velocity was higher.
