Co/N-doped carbon nanospheres act as a superb catalyst for ambient NH 3 synthesis via electrochemical NO 3 − reduction, attaining a large NH 3 yield of 758.0 μmol h −1 mg cat. −1 and a high faradaic efficiency of up to 96.5%.
