Report on the development of the Accommodation Sector (1980) (English version)

The report, which has been compiled regularly every two years, analyzes the development of the accommodation sector in 1980-1981, as well as likely future trends. It provides a short description of policies relating to accommodation development in the WTO regions and in individual countries. In particular, it provides data on accommodation capacity and occupancy rates. It also deals with such problems as investment, management of accommodation facilities, standardized classification of hotels as well as trends in hotel tariffs.
