Background: Granulocyte colony stimulating factors (G-CSFs) are typically incorporated after stem cell infusion for autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT), while not absolutely necessary, G-CSF support has shown to decrease time to engraftment, shorten hospital length of stay and decrease neutropenic fever. With the approval of filgrastim-sndz (Zarxio®) and TBO-filgrastim (Granix®), drug cost has decreased compared to pegfilgrastim (Neulasta®) and filgrastim (Neupogen®). There have been few studies assessing the safety and efficacy in the transplant setting.
