Research on Elevated Temperature Characteristics of Q235 Steel During Continuous Straightening

In the process of the continuous straightening during continuous casting,the temperature of steel slab is very high,the characteristic of deformation is low strain and low strain rate.The experiments of elevated rheopectic curve,elevated temperature creep and stress relaxation under the conditions of continuous straightening were carried on Gleeble3500 thermal-force simulation machine.The results indicate that the rheopectic curve is dynamic recrystallizing shape,and both the creep speed and the stress relaxation speed are very fast.Using the characteristics has a great importance to improve the quality and productivity of billets in the continuous casting.
