ENZYMATIC ESTIMATION OF AVAILABLE LYSINE

ABSTRACT The automated lysine decarboxylase method of determining lysine concentrations was integrated with a previously developed method of treating samples with 1‐fluoro‐2,4‐dinitrobenzene to bind free epsilonamino groups of lysine. Together these procedures provide an improved test for available lysine.
