摘要
The capacity fading mechanism of lithium-ion battery during the cycling process, using LiNi 1/3 Co 1/3 Mn 1/3 O 4 as cathode material, was investigated by SEM, XRD, ICP, DSC. The results show that the reasons which lead to the capacity fading are: (1) the pulverization of the cathode powder, which enlarges the inner resistance from 10 mΩ to 28 mΩ during the cycling process. (2) the decomposition of the electrolyte, which lead to the increase of lithium element in the cathode and anode, in the cathode increasing from 5.349% to 6.632%, while in the anode increasing from 1.512% to 2.219% during the cycling process.
