The conducting polyaniline/poly(ethylene terephthalate)(PANI/PET) composite fabric was prepared by in-situ chemical polymerization.Two mechanical squeezing were added in preparation.With surface conductivity of the fabric and PANI exhaustion rate as evaluation indicators,optimum preparation conditions were defined as follows: alkali deweighting of PET fabric for 90 minutes,adsorption of PANI onto fabric for 60 minutes,initiation with ammonium persulfate for 2 seconds,120% pickup rate of ammonium persulfate.Fabrics were characterized by SEM,IR and thermo-gravimetry analysis.Results showed that the prepared composite fabric featured good conductivity with surface resistance decreased to 102 ~103 Ω orders of magnitude.
