Synthesis of one-dimensional WO3–Bi2WO6 heterojunctions with enhanced photocatalytic activity

A one-dimensional WO₃–Bi₂WO₆ photocatalyst exhibits high photocatalytic activity for the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) under solar light irradiation, which is attributed to the effective separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs by the staggered band potentials between WO₃ and Bi₂WO₆.
