摘要
The flow through the distributor and the runner of a Francis turbine has been calculated by use of a 3D Euler code. Within each part of the machine, i.e. the stay vane ring, the wicket gate as well as the runner, the flow has been calculated separately. To put these solutions together, a Quasi-3D stacking technique is applied. It is shown that this matching procedure is an appropriate way in order to avoid the use of empirical data in numerical flow simulation.
