Resonant photoacoustic detection and imaging with a spheroidal acoustic resonator

A photoacoustic (PA) detection and imaging scheme with a spheroidal acoustic resonator under perfect air-sealed and unsealed condition was proposed and demonstrated. In this study, a spheroidal acoustic resonator was used, and it was used for imaging apparatus for non-destructive inspection of specinmens. It is advantageous to use a speroidal accoustic responator for PA imaging.
