Effect of Buyanghuanwu decoction on diabetic nephropathy and parameter of renal blood flow

Objective To observe the effect of Buyanghuanwu decoction on diabetic nephropathy and parameter of renal blood flow.Methods 118 cases with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in control group(n=61) were treated by routine therapy.Patients in treatment group(n=57) were treated by Buyanghuanwu decoction(a dose,a day) combined with routine therapy.FPG,HbA1c,UAER and parameter of renal blood flow in patients were measured pre-and post-treatment in both groups.Results UAER in treatment group obviously decreased in comparison with that in control group(P0.05).Improvement of parameter of renal blood flow in treatment group was superior to that in control group(P0.01).The total effective rate in freatment group(89.5%) was higher than that in control group(63.6%,P0.05).Conclusion Buyanghuanwu decoction can effective treat diabetic nephropathy,and improve circulation of renal blood and decrease urinary albumin.
