摘要
Abstract We report a compact all-fiber erbium-doped mode-locked laser based on a Fabry–Pérot cavity. Once mode-locking was achieved, a pulse train with a repetition rate of 6.75 MHz was obtained, with the pulse width being 5 ns. The proposed design for realizing mode-locked fiber lasers avoids the use of specialty materials and polarization-dependent isolators, thereby offering a robust and straightforward approach for short pulse generation.
