Research on Multi-operator Inter-network Roaming Technology

Because 5G network equipment is expensive, requires a significant investment during construction, consumes a lot of power, and has a high operating cost, co-construction and sharing have emerged as new methods of network construction and operation for operators. The paper first introduced the networking architecture and interoperability interface of core network inter-network roaming, then introduced the key processes and requirements of inter-network roaming, and analyzed the registration process and terminal mobility management of roaming area. Finally, it gave a real network experiment of inter-network roaming and provided suggestions for commercial inter-network roaming.
