摘要
Diabetic wounds are chronic wounds that are difficult to heal and have high morbidity, mortality and recurrence rates, and being able to effectively treat chronic diabetic wounds remains challenging. The aim of this study was to investigate the mechanism of plasma jet to promote diabetic wound healing and to provide new ideas for diabetic wound repair. Through experimental results, it was shown that plasma jet could significantly accelerate diabetic wound healing speed and reduce healing time. The actives in plasma can stimulate cell proliferation and differentiation, and promote collagen synthesis and secretion, thus accelerating the wound healing process. At the same time, plasma also has excellent antimicrobial properties, effectively killing or inhibiting pathogenic bacteria around the wound, reducing the risk of infection and accelerating tissue regeneration. In addition, we observed that plasma jet treatment of wounds can also effectively regulate the inflammatory microenvironment around wounds, reduce the formation of scar tissue, and provide more favorable conditions for diabetic wound healing.
