摘要
Abstract In this paper, a dual-layer metamaterial structure which is composed of polytetrafluoroethylene substrate and copper was designed. The mechanism underlying the generation of multi-band analogous electromagnetically induced transparency effect in the structure is analyzed by the finite integration time-domain method and equivalent circuit method. Additionally, the influence of the structural parameters of the structure on transmission is also investigated. A detection approach utilizing the structure to detect the thickness and permittivity of solid plate structures is formulated, which can be employed in solid sensing. The results indicate that the structure holds potential applications in refractive index sensing and multi-band filter.
