摘要
ABSTRACT The lack of effective thickness characterization indicators for transfer films leads to an unclear understanding of the thickness range that can improve the friction behavior of polymer materials. This paper investigated the correlation between the thickness characterization indicators and the wear resistance for various types of polymer matrix materials. The results showed as the values of characterization indicators increased, the coefficient of determination ( R 2 ) between them and wear resistance increased. Among them, the maximum thickness contributed the most to wear resistance compared to other thicknesses, and its coefficient of determination with wear resistance was the highest ( R 2 = 0.88). Besides, all transfer films of polymer materials exhibited a layered structure similar to PTFE‐based transfer films.
