Lithium-ion batteries: direct solid sampling for characterisation of black mass recyclates using graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry

A straightforward, efficient and robust method was developed in this study to analyse the metal content of complex recyclates from cathode coatings (LiNi x Mn y Co 1− x − y O 2 ) recovered from spent lithium-ion batteries.
