An improved PMF-FFT acquisition algorithm for low SNR environments

To address the issues of low Doppler frequency offset estimation accuracy and low acquisition probability in traditional PMF-FFT acquisition algorithms under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions, we propose a DCA-P-PMF-FFT acquisition algorithm suitable for low SNR environments. By utilizing differential coherent accumulation technology to suppress noise and enhance the signal's SNR, the signal acquisition probability is improved; by employing the Hanning window to mitigate spectrum leakage; and by using the parabolic interpolation algorithm to increase the accuracy of Doppler frequency offset estimation. Simulation experimental data confirm that the improved algorithm demonstrates significant advantages in Doppler frequency offset estimation, and compared to the traditional PMF-FFT algorithm, its acquisition probability is increased by approximately 10 dB.
