ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF HOT STOVES FOR THE BLAST FURNACE

An analysis of the energy efficiency of two hot stoves for the blast furnace (HBS), was carried out in the HBIS Serbia Steel Plant. Based on the theoretical benchmark heat balance calculation of blast furnace (BF) gas consumption and insight into the current situation, possibilities for improving energy efficiency were identified. Detailed examination was carried out for a full work cycle of HBS.
