摘要
Phosphorus doped carbon coated palygorskite (Pal@P-C) was prepared as an interlayer material for conquering polysulfides in Lithium–Sulfur (LiS) batteries via one simple method. The process was carried out in inert furnace by using palygorskite and triphenylphosphine as starting materials. The phosphorus doped carbon content of the composite could be adjusted by controlling the proportion of raw materials and temperature. Based on this, the synthesized Pal@P-C-2 interlayer material exhibited good conductivity and demonstrated enhanced adsorption, and conversion characteristics of polysulfides, thereby enabling LiS batteries to achieve higher cycling performance. The assembled battery composed by Pal@P-C-2 interlayer showed good cycling stability with 401 mAh g−1 and a low capacity fading of 0.6‰ per cycle from 6th to 700th cycle at 2C.
