Diesel Engine Exhaust Fine and Ultrafine Particles and Human Health Effects

Vehicle exhausts result in a large sum of fine or ultrafine particles that create more serious environmental risks. These very small particles could be potentially more significant in terms of their impact on health than larger particles. This article presented a review on fine and ultrafine particles characteristic of diesel engine emission, including their chemical composition and size distributions, as well as their effect on human health.
