T Plate Internal Fixation for Distal Radius Fracture

Objective To evaluate the therapy results of T plate internal fixation for distal radius fracture.Methods According to AO type,26 cases of B,C type of distal radius fracture are treated with T plate through dorsal open reduction,through X ray to evaluate union of fracture and Denis standard of wrist joint function to follow up.Results Average follow up time is 7.3month of all cases,average bone union time is 6-12weeks of all cases.Functional recovery: 16 cases excellent,6cases good,3 cases common and 1 case weak.Conclusions The cases with B,C type of distal radius fracture can be get satisfied therapy results by T plate through dorsal open reduction.
