Study on determination of polysaccharides content in argopectens irradias by phenol-sulfuric acid method

To optimize the condition of determining polysaccharides content by phenol-sulfuric acid method,using glucose as the standard sample. The precision and the recovery rate were studied,the better condition was as follows:1.0mL 6% solution of phenol,sulfuric acid 5.0mL,room-temperature for 30min,the absorbency rate was tested in wavelength 480nm. The result showed that the method can be used to determine the argopectens irradias polysaccharides simply and accurately.
