A hybrid genetic algorithm for packing three-dimension container by using two-dimension link structure to express the packing status is proposed. Because it can express relationship between adjoin nodes by using two-dimension link structure, it easy to optimize space using, and can also reduce times for search a good packing sequence. Combining with hybrid genetic algorithm can search a good packing sequence in a short time, after combined this two methods the experimental data demonstrates that it is an effective approach to solve a three-dimension container packing problem.
