摘要
The article shows the main aspects of the accuracy of the correlation method for the arrival times determining the emitting and receiving waves in the ultrasonic time-of-flight flowmeters. The main components of the propagation time measurement error are considered and an experimental confirmation of the theoretical positions is made. The main focus is on to the researching of the probing signals shape addiction when they pass through the flowmeter's electro-acoustic path with narrow-band or broad-band piezoelectric sensors. Important are the issues of establishing the digital samples sequence length and their correct truncation of signals.
