Correlation of panoramic high-risk markers with the cone beam CT findings in the preoperative assessment of the mandibular third molars

Canal deviation and interruption of white lines were associated with loss of canal cortication on CBCT, indicating a direct contact between the roots and the mandibular canal which required a further assessment prior to the extraction.
