ULg leads programme for testing cryogenic seal on rocket engine's liquid oxygen tubopump

The European Space Agency (ESA) has selected the Université de Liège (ULg), Belgium, to conduct tests on the dynamic seal on the liquid oxygen turbopump that is being used in the new-generation cryogenic VINCI engine, which will equip the top stage of future versions of the Ariane launcher.
