Application on Airflow Detection of Wood Drying Kiln Based on Compulational Fluid Dynamics

Three dimension model of wood drying kiln is simulatedused commercial software of CFD(Compulational Fluid Dynamics),FLUENT in this paper.With results of simulation compared with experimental data have done,the feascbility and veracity of numerical simulation by software of FLUENT to wood drying kiln is validated.Then internal air velocity distribution in different circulation velocities are forecasted.The simulation results showed that the uniformity of airflow distribution is better when airflow velocity is 3m/s.
