Observation of diabetic nephropathy treated by Wenshenhuoxue Mixture

Objective To observe diabetic nephropathy treated by Wenshenhuoxue Mixture.Methods 96 patients with diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into two groups.On the basis of general treatment in two groups,48 cases in treatment group were treated by Wenshenhuoxue Mixture,thrice a day.Patients in control group were treated by angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor(Benazepril).The course was a month in two groups.After three courses,the changes of 24 h urine protein,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen and clinical effect were observed before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate in treatment group(91.7%) was higher than that in control group(31.3%,P0.01).24 h urine protein,serum creatinine,blood urea nitrogen in treatment group were lower than those in control group after treatment(P0.01).Conclusion Wenshenhuoxue Mixture has definite effect on the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
