Experiment and numeric simulation of planetary wheeled agitator

On the basis of experiment and numeric simulation,a new type of planetary wheel agitator was emphatically investigated and its stirring power and efficiency were tested and analyzed.And the agitator was also compared with the traditional propeller-agitator and anchor-agitator.In stirring process,the planetary wheel generated both the revolution and rotation,forming a better radial and axial flow,and a highly turbulent mixing zone was formed.Its mixing effect was superior to other two traditional agitators.
