A copper(ii) metal–organic hydrogel as a heterogeneous reusable catalyst for the synthesis of 1,3-oxathiolane-2-thiones from the reaction of CS2 and epoxides

A copper( ii ) metal–organic hydrogel has been synthesized. The gel is an efficient reusable catalyst for the conversion of CS 2 to cyclic thiocarbonate.
