DEVELOPMENT OF DRILLING AND COMPLETION TECHNOLOGY OF COAL-BED METHANE WELLS IN CHINA

The developing situation of drilling and completion technology in coal_bed methane wells in last decade in our country is reviewed.The successful technology and the research results of coal_bed methane obtained in America are summurized.Some problems about existing technology and the main factors restricting coal_bed methane development in China are discussed in the view of drill and completion engineering.Some technique difficulties,the thoughts and relative measures for solving the problems in drilling and completion of coal_bed methane wells in China under the condition of coal_bed with low pressure,low permeability,gas saturated and other special physical properties are proposed.
