Application of Tool Length Compensation in CNC Machining

The length of the NC machining tool was explored,then the principle of tool length compensation was analysed.The format of the tool length compensation instructions,the method by which the tool length compensation is determined and the attentions are introduced.According to an example,it shows how to properly use the tool length compensation instruction in editing the numerical control program.
