Clinical Observation of Budesonide Combined with Theiss Alergol Pollen Blocker in the Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of budesonide combined with Theiss alergol pollen blocker in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and compare it with budesonide alone.METHODS:98 outpatient cases of allergic rhinitis were collected and separated into 2 groups according to the medicine administration.Control group with 47 cases were given budesonide only;Drug combination group with 51 cases were given Theiss and budesonide.All 2 groups were given relevant drugs for consecutive 14 days.We evaluated the clinical efficacy using symptom score reducing index,and analyzed the dosage decreasing time and adverse drug reactions of budesonide.RESULTS:Symptom score reducing index in drug combination group increased significantly,compared with control group.Dosage decreasing time of budesonide in drug combination group was significantly earlier than control group.The incidence of adverse drug reactions in drug combination group was significantly lower than control group.CONCLUSIONS:Budesonide combined with Theiss alergol pollen blocker could give a better way to ameliorate clinical symptom of allergic rhinitis.Combined use of theiss alergol pollen blocker and budesonide could put forward the dosage decreasing time of budesonide and decrease the incidence of adverse drug reactions.
