Efficacy of Air Purifiers in Purification of Indoor Air in Care Unit

OBJECTIVE To observe the efficacy of TA 2000 of air purifiers on Inhalable particles in the care unit room.METHODS Two care unit rooms were selected and were randomly divided into group A(TA2000 air purifier) and the control group B(no air purifier).The handhold laser dust corpuscular counter was used to detect the particles in the air.RESULTS group A(TA2000 air purifier),the particle concentration(PM10) was 197951 ±12498.9/m3,PM2.5 was 197440±12533.0/m3,significantly lower than the control group B(P0.01).CONCLUSIONS The TA 2000 air purifiers is fit for purification of indoor air in care units.
