On Pragmatic Functions of Presupposition in Advertisements

Presupposition is an important notion in pragmatics.The author discovers that the features of presupposition coincide with the requirements for advertising language in many points and presupposition can serve advertisements.This paper illustrates the author's point of view from three angles:presupposition and advertising language,presupposition and advertising information,presupposition and advertising strategy.
