The emergence of large quantity of regional collaborative network based on different forms and functions has become an important way of resolving cross-boundary public problems and the regional governance dilemma.By social network analysis,this essay presents an empirical research on collaborative networks of 16 central cities in the urban agglomeration of Yangtze River Delta Area from 2001 to 2012.It analyzes the evolutionary form,structural property and inside characteristic of regional governance collaborative network.The results show that regional governance cooperative linkages present the networking and overlapping characteristics,the centrality of cities in network is more balanced,and the hub city nodes with the broker function still undeveloped.The regional public governance pattern featured by multi-level involving,multi-center cooperating and multi-mechanism co-existing has come into being.
