摘要
Background/Objectives: Stigmatization of people with severe mental illness (SMI) can have a severe negative impact on their daily lives. Interventions that alleviate the impact of stigma (de-stigmatizing) can be valuable for patients, family and society. Over the past year the „Attitude Change in Mental Health Care“ project updated a psychoeducational manual to include recent scientific findings on the psychosis continuum. This manual is used in a new coping skills training that takes a user perspective and focuses on coping with stigma in people with psychosis. The D-STIGMI study (Destigmatizing Mental Illness) evaluates this training.
