Text Study and Chinese Modern and Contemporary Literature——A Written Discussion

literature research is divided into internal and external research,concretely into the study of literature history,thought trends,literature culture,and writers and texts.Before the 80s of the last century,the study of writers and texts had come through a magnificent time,which,to some extent,seemed to be very narrow and abnormal.However,in recent years,the study of literature culture has been the center of the literature research.The text research declines day by day and becomes desolate.As for how to evaluate this phenomenon and how to regard the significance that the text research occupies in the Chinese modern and contemporary literature research,Hezhongming,Liyi,Zhangguangmang and Wuyiqin,who are young and middle-aged scholars engaged in Chinese Contemporary Literature research,express their views from the aspects of academic development,Chinese modern literature characteristic,literary history and literary criticism.They form the basic mutual recognition: the text is the literature foundation,and the literature nature is the most basic attribute.Although the literature research cannot be ossified for the sole text research,the text research should be carried out in the open premise.To strengthen the text research,deepen text research,is the duty to which Chinese modern and contemporary literature researchers should pay attention.Only in this way can we deepen our understanding about literature main body and characteristic of Chinese modern and contemporary literature,strengthen the building of the scientific nature and standard of literature,and promote the reality targeting of literary criticism.
