A donor–π–σ–acceptor strategy in porous polymers for suppression of carrier recombination: boosting photoredox in a Csp2–N radical cross-coupling reaction

Incorporating σ linker between the D–π–A heterojunction suppresses photogenerated carrier recombination. ETTA-σ-Im exhibits highly catalytic performance in photooxidative CDC amidation, while facilitating photoreductive O 2 to H 2 O 2 production.
